About Me

Greetings. I'm the Con-Quester. Con-questing (Short for convention questing) basically means, I go a step further than just dressing as and acting out my character (One of my D&D/Pathfinder Ranger characters). I live out the occupation of a freelance adventurer. If you’ve played many open world RPG games like Skyrim, or World of Warcraft, you know what that entails. I go out of my way to try to find people who will submit a quest for me to accomplish. From there, I write it down in my quest log, and attempt to accomplish it to the best of my ability. So basically its live action side questing.

My real name's Andric. Just some nerd from southern Ohio who spent his entire life driving up and down highway 33. I have interests in a lot of things, from writing and world building, to roleplaying and tabeltop rpgs, to the supernatural, to sociology and anthropology (Mostly pertaining to the high middle ages in Europe), to American otaku culture, to video games, to HVZ, to... Well, you get the idea. The list goes on.

I'm a 31 year old INFP with an identical twin brother. Thus the first 20 years of my life were spent trying to establish myself as a person and not the "other twin". I'm very introverted. Now to dispel the connotation that this word generally conjures, let me just state that I am neither shy, nor plagued with social anxiety, as even an introvert can have confidence in his or herself. It just means I can live in isolation indefinitely if never prompted out into the world...

As you might guess though, I spend a lot of time in my imagination, crafting fantasy worlds and characters. Worry not, for I can healthily discern reality from fiction. In fact I hate the term escapism, as that entails that I want to escape from reality. Don't get me wrong of course, like most people, there are a lot of times where I would rather hide away from the world and lick my wounds, but I prefer to look at my interests in roleplaying and creative world building as the "exploration" of reality. To provide me with context into other worlds and those who inhabit them. I'm a prospector by nature. And thus always on the hunt to find the things in this world that have value to me. And if I can't find what I'm looking for, I create my own.
